We are a team of 3 close friends, who envision a friendlier world. Our admin handles all of the fine print required to run a business, so our instructors can focus on bringing the things they are most passionate about to you, our community member.

Founder and Website Manager,

Instructor Nachtlied

Instr. Nachtlied has been doing aerial for 15 years. Additionally, she took dance and choreography classes at Jacksonville University. From Nadia Sharif to Pink Puma, she has sought a wide variety of instructors. Further, she has attended studios all across Florida and the United States, including Buttercup in Tampa and Epic in Reno, NV.

Her favorite parts of the aerial world are breaking complex movements into smaller pieces to puzzle them back together and teaching absolute beginners for the first time. She pours her heart into this during lunch breaks and after clocking out from a regular, 9-5 corporate job. It is her hope and dream that Venus Awakening becomes a place for women in Clay County to reclaim their time, space, and well-being.

Co-Founder and Floor Manager, Ms. Cake

Ms. Cake has over twenty years of dance and pole experience, with the cat-herding experience to match. She has held certifications in numerous specific styles, and will use her well-rounded knowledge to bring a unique dance flavor to Venus Awakening. Our new instructors will be vetted by Ms. Cake.

    Communication and Outreach Specialist

    Aves brings a communications degree and an eye for detail to our behind-the-scenes team. They painstakingly review and suggest updates to our website and social media, while helping to plan and market promotions and events.

  • Bear

    Administrative Owner/Operator

    Bear keeps our dream from dying to red tape. He files paperwork and keeps our insurance current. Sometimes, you can find him doing a task that he is both underprepared and underpaid for.

  • Luxio

    Graphic Artist

    Luxio provides us with beautiful and creative art and design suggestions. Occasionally, they assist with filming and creating social media content.
